- Employees on ships on uncommissioned ships of Her Majesty in right of Canada
- Employees conducting the loading and unloading of ships
- MOSH regulations cover a variety of subjects, from basic sanitation and housekeeping to scaffolding. It includes general safety information about working in a marine environment that can even include regulations in regards to loose fitting clothing.
Canada Shipping Act
- The Canada Shipping Act contains regulations surrounding shipping activities, ensuring maritime safety, protecting the marine environment, and promoting the efficient and sustainable operation of Canadian vessels and waterways.
- The Canada Shipping Act pertains more to the specific instances of work performed on or by vessels, including hotwork, lifting operations, enclosed spaces, PPE, and fire prevention.
